Is your website mobile-friendly for Google after 21 April?
Categories: Business Resources, Uncategorized
I was the guest of the Bank of Melbourne at a luncheon today at Eureka Tower.
The guest speaker was Leonie Valentine.
She is a Melbourne girl but presently resides in Hong Kong.
Leonie is employed by Google as Director Global Customer Experience Asia Pacific.
She gave an excellent rundown on Google’s dedication to improving the customer experience to make it easier for anyone to use Google’s services—–especially Adwords.
The matter that had walked past me was that Google is now placing more emphasis on mobile delivery and from 21 April are emphasising mobile-friendly sites.
The risk is that your website is not mobile-friendly.
That’s the potentially bad news.
The good news is that Google can help with a free online assessment of your site.
You can have your website assessed online by Google

PS The lunch was excellent, the company was interesting and the view was fantastic.
Thank you Bank of Melbourne.
